This caught my eye right away while I was browsing, a great picture! Reminds me of a much less creepy version of the pic on the cover of "silence of the lambs." Great shot!

I like this shot alot, as do about 1500 some odd people do too.
The real eye catcher for me, and there was no pun intended, was her eyes. They are placed in such a magnificant pose fro 2 things. 1. The over wideness is like a strain to view the world. and 2. The distinct separation of the eyelashes, make her eyes look like they have wings of their own. Each strand like a vein or membrane so to speak. In connection with my first reason, it's like her eyes are her wings to see the world in a different light, or in this case a different species. The bubbly butterfly. Each bat of the eyelashes are compared to each flutter that a butterfly uses to transport themselves, live and just be in their constant state of change.
As humans, yu'd think we'd be the same. And to me, in this shot humanity's freedom is portrayed. The eyes are our transport/navigation, it's out way of life, for some they are not allowed, (the blind) and then those people, get to relish in their own hightened senses, and abilites. Just like a butterfly, there is one category, but many divisions of that. Humans, there is one race, but many diverse people in it...
Well that's just what I thought. I know, I might be off my rocker, but hey being 14, gives me innocence to say what I feel, and hopefully I conveyed that properly. I truly love this picture, and just like a buttefly, as humans we fly into things unknowningly at some of the dangers in life...just do not be afraid. To spread your wings and soar higher than the tallest mountain.

Well I'm certainly quite impressed that this picture evoked all those thoughts! That's very rewarding to hear... that something that's come out of my head can get into someone elses and give them ideas of their own.
