It's been a while since I provided a render with one from my youngest Oc .
But finally I decided to share some of my Calix with you boyz and girlz 
I also figured out that night scenes fit him best for some reason.
And what doesn't work best but a warm evening and cherry blossoms xD ?

Didn't have time to write a proper critique earlier so I had to come back.. Here we have what looks to be a dream like image, I don't know if that is what you intended, but that is how this hits me. First thing I noticed is that you put in the work to get the pinks and reds to bleed over onto your character, I like that very much and I know it takes a fair amount of effort to get it to do that. Over all there is an all over nice play of both light and color... If I had one to point at anything it would merely be that this is a dream like render and while the colors do draw the eye to your work it comes across as a static flash dance. The eye moves around the picture searching for something to focus on besides your character and yet while many things are suggested there is nothing in this work other then your character for the eye to focus on. I would encourage you perhaps to take the next step, create movement, try to think of a way to capture the eye and keep it moving around the work. The longer you can capture the eye and keep it the more deep what you are trying to say can be. Try to think of it this way, you brought this character to life, now you need to give him a purpose for being. I am not giving you a real high score here, I want you to show me more....But don't think for one minute I don't recognize your hard work here and be thankful for the sharing

hehe that's how i was at begin hun. I started because I loved others work and because I wanted to try something new other than drawing.
Altough I must confess that it's been a long period in which i struggled to improve because programs seems so difficult at begin
