Description The 115-Medical Applicator, manufactured by Silas Pharmaceuticals, is a multipurpose site injector used by Escean military and civilian medical personnel, from field medics to EMTs and doctors.

Through a variety of caps and drug cartridges, the gun-like injector can cover a wide number of situations quickly. The unit is equipped with a mounting ring and locking mechanism. Pushing the lock catch down releases/allows a new cap to be installed, while up secures it in place. Cartridges are installed between the mounting ring and the rear plunger housing, and also lock into place, release by two catches on the frame of the device. Each cartridge is colour-coded and labelled and features a measuring line. A full range of needle gauges can be installed.

MedApps are widely used for injecting analgesics, anaesthetics, antibiotics and for mass or general innoculation, but the majority of devices are employed for delivering Bio-Regenerative Gel (BRG) or 'Bridge' to wound sites.

Bridge is a nanomedical salve used to completely alleviate extensive surface trauma or, in the case of deeper wounds, protect the patient en route to long-term medical care. BRG consists of two components: a Gel designed to expand on contact with blood, absorbing and restricting loss, whilst disinfecting and numbing the site of an open wound; a smart Bio-Regenerative nanomachine infusion that initiates rapid cellular regrowth and aids the reconnection of severed veins and capillaries through the gel.

Once the gel has settled and filled the wound, the nanomachines set about repairs, stimulating and duplicating the cell structure of nearby tissues. The gel will gradually transition into tissue, and once the process is complete the entirety of the applied Bridge will have become a functioning replacement for the original damaged or destroyed tissue, leaving little to no visible scarring.

Allergic reactions to BRG are rare and usually mild, and easily controlled by an oral or intravenous application of antihistamines. With exception of the aquatic Dorne, BRG is certified for with all known System species. Note: Application to a Maktharian patient is only viable on soft tissues beneath chitinous exoskeleton.
