Mika is a very active, recent quad amputee girl. Despite having so little, she uses every part of her tiny body to stay physically active and enjoy life. This doesn't go smoothly all the time, unfortunately! A lot can go wrong and she can't do much about it! Thankfully she has awesome friends who never leave her side. But why that watermark? I know you want to earn money with your works (and I hope you get your share here and on patreon) but there must be a better way to protect your interlectual property

Thank you for the compliment and feedback. The files i put up for download are watermark free, and pretty much the only thing i have is the signature at the bottom. It's more of a way to let people know my works are in deviantart as well as to be fair with patrons who subscribe to get the watermark-free artworks. Maybe i can make a better looking watermark next time ^_^

Thats sad to hear
I belive that watermarks ruin the enjoyment of art, especially the unsubtile ones that are created automatically by dA's software. It also changes art from a way to express yourself and showing your best ideas into a profane product with a pricetag. Maybe its just because I've a different approach to this topic - the pure joy of beeing creative and that wonderfull feeling when the crowd here shows their appreciation has a much higher value than money to me.

I agree with you and i also have my reasons for keeping the watermarks anyway. one of which is it makes it easy for people to post my works around even without adding the source. When their viewers read the mark and come to this site, then im happy.Β

What about adding your dA- and patron-links as part of your signature?
Put it where colors blend so it can't be removed easily.
The problem I got with watermarks, is that they are not part of the artwork. They destroy the composition of the picture, they're ruining art. It hurts to see when gifted artists destroy their works in such a way - its completely unnecessary
