I had a brain wave today after watching my natural history lecture and had to scribble it down - then it got out of hand hahaha
I think this may be a new character of mine inspired by Xanthoria lichen growing on a rock. they kinda look like flowers here but they're supposed to be foliose and crustose lichens that grow on his skin and on his bark-like horns! His name is Xanthi.

Here's his concept:

He also has no tail (only a tailbone made out of the same material as his horns) where vines and leaves sometimes get caught. His hooves are big, cloven into 3 sections, and hollow underneath like a 'scoop' that he uses to dig things up (like a reindeer's hoof!)

He stays in well-lit places with fresh, clean air. the colonies on his body can change but they're usually the characteristic orange Xanthoria lichens!
