Fuck everyone. I'm posting this here.I'm sick of being afraid to post any of my Metalocalypse-related slash on dA. And this is barely slash at that...
Still, I hate the homophobic backlash that comes with any kind of Metalocalypse slash. People who say shit like "Gay isn't metal" or whatever the fuck else.
Fuck all of you little bigots.
I know I get way too worked up over this shit. Cry moar, amirite?
Anyways, this was my half of an art trade with who is a lovely artist that I admire.
Oh and I ship them. I ship them so fucking hard.

I kind of get ambiguously gay at most. I guess, where's the line between ambiguously gay and out and out slashy?

This isn't really a pairing I get behind (I'm more Charles/Pickles), but this art is so lovely that I can find no reason to complain.
And I hear ya about the bigoted comments. I used to get a LOT of them when I was churning out more Metalocalypse slash, but every once in a while I'll get a nasty remark on a 3-year-old drawing from some douche who's late to the party. And it's the same crap: "THERE'S NO GAY IN METAL!!" or some such bull, and it's like...uh hello, Rob Halford of Judas Priest?

Yeah, it's stupid. Really. I just gotta let it roll off me... and the negativity is almost never directed towards my art! It's a lot of my buddies who get all the hate! Fffff.... which makes me angrier.

Yeah, brutalbusiness and capslockdethklok. Like I said, nasty falling out with certain people kind of ruined it for me. Strictly guilt by association. Buuuuut, I get to explore a plural relationship which has always been closer to my heart than slash, but I have long been afraid to write about it.
It's funny, but people who are completely accepting of slash completely blow up at the thought of polyamory.
I've actually been very lucky; the triplets have been recieved a lot more warmly than I thought they would. I was expecting torches and pitchforks but have only gotten spat on a few times. There's an old Irish saying: When you expect a kick in the balls and you get a slap in the face, then it's a victory.
So I get where you're coming from. It's not as scary out here as you might think. There are nice folks everywhere. Be fearless! I encourage you to continue!

That's a bummer. BB does get a little intense sometimes. I always have the weirdest suspicion that the mods don't like me. XD I don't know why... I'm just paranoid.

DO IT. PLease. ;A; It's just how your lineart blends in so good and your coloring.. I don't know why but I can make anything without lines look good, like I can't color over them or anything and it still appears good.. >>

Secret: I totally still use lines. I just set them (on a different layer) to Overlay or Soft Light... or even just lower the opacity. Then I blend around them and into them. I'm jumping the gun here, but if you want to see what I mean: [link]
