Description A gift for Groudan383 of his character!
Had a lot of fun bringing a full scene to a turntable, and I'm surprised at how well it all went! I'm definitely looking forward to doing more of these kinds of things!

Moco, simply WOW, this is a masterpiece!! You really put all your skills and dedication into this work, and it truly paid off, it's awesome and so freaking epic!! I'm looking at it and I can see that you even made the interior of the buildings, the colapsing structure and the felling debri, plus, I love the smoke and dust clouds a lot!! How did you made them? And of course, let's not forget about the main star of this work, Grou is looking so cool and magnificent here, so massive and impossing, you really did a great work with him, he came out very good, and I have to say that he looks cute with that face. XD

I'm really happy you like it, Vic! The buildings are really just shells with floors in them, so no fancy interiors really! The smoke is just a rough shape with volumetrics applied to give it that smokey, translucent appearance. Usually very taxing on the system, but this time it wasn't so bad! I'm glad you like this so much, I always appreciate your comments and responding to them!

Heh, the hardest part of the buildings was trying to make them look different from each other. I think it went alright, though!
I made the shape, then added a ton of geometry and used a random transformation to make it less smooth.
Usually, yes they do. And my room heats up significantly. Surprisingly, it wasn't so bad this time.
Yeah, it's fun to explain some of the details, and knowing that you saw them and appreciate them makes it worth putting them in!

Oooh yeah, I noticed that, it makes the scene a lot better than if all the buildings were the same, that's dedication!!
Aaaah I see, clever, thanks for the info. ^^
Even you room gets warmer? XD At least you save money in heating during winter.

Oh yeah, my room heats right up when the PC's under heavy load! Like, the rest of the house may be around 70F, but my room could be near 100F. It's actually a good sign, the air is circulating through the PC and cooling it. It's just a small trade-off. XP

How big is it?
Damn, I hope it has a window or a way to make the air circulate, but yeah, that cooling system surely is working. XD

The room is fairly small, but even in the larger college dorm room, it heats up. There's windows, and I do use them when I need to! Though, as we get into summer, I'll just be trying to put 90 degree air into the 90 degree air outdoors, sooo... may not work so well. XP But I'm fine with it and used to it, so I really don't notice it usually!

Aaah makes sense then. XD
Haha indeed, it wouldn't be very efficient. XD
That's good!

A lot, Moco!
I know, but still, that's some hours of work!
Oooh interesting, did you had to make the shape, or it was randomly added?
I guess that the fans on your laptop/desktop rev up when rendering your modelss.
Awww dude, I really enjoy commenting on your stuff, and knowing that you appreciate them makes me so happy.
