I admire how spiders have no problem to overpower creatures even twice as big as they are themselves.

Oh yes, you are right! They are very fascinating creatures! Although I am like almost every other woman, meaning that I don´t need to have spiders close around, I like to observe them, to see their strength, their skills (imagine the pure beauty of cobwebs!), and their elegance.

specially when they walk slowly marking their territory with spiderweb
I guess I'm unlike most women and I really don't mind spiders at my home
or anywhere I am (no matter how big they may be) I like to catch them and make tham wander
from my hand to the other
...besides I'm a happy owner of 6 adult tarantulas

every spider's venom is a kind of a poison (more or less harming)
the worst are ones with neurotoxine, which affects the neurological system really bad,
but I don't have tarantulas with this kind of toxine.
I am aware that they may bite me of course but it's not likely to happen.
I feed them and don't disturb them at night (as they are much active then, it's their hounting time)
in daytime they are very calm and not much willing to attack so...
why should I be afraid of them?

I see. I don´t know a lot about spiders, it´s new to me that there are different kind of venoms within tarantulas... And I didn´t know that they hunt at night. Nice. I know, that there´s no reason to be afraid of, but, well, it´s similar to being afraid of heights... This fear is not explicable. Do you have photos of your spiders?

I forgot to mention that I used to have arachnophobia
knowing that, my boyfriend bought me a tiny tarantula
and he gave it to me in a white film box as a birthday gift xD
see how clever that was? he knew I won't get rid of a gift
...and so the spider grew and my fear decreased to eventually change into admiration

Ich hatte ne Brennweite von 35 mm, also so stark gezoomt habe ich gar nicht, aber ich hatte Makrolinsen vor das Objektiv geschraubt.....
