Description
Finalized version of: [link]The Yamaha ULTIMATE TERRAIN VEHICLE (UTV).
Originally designed for early Martian exploration, instead of being scrapped after the dismantling of Nasa and various other space programs Yamaha decided to overhaul the design for Earth use, and thus the popular UTV was born. Designed for extended use on a hostile barren wasteland thousands of miles from easy repair, the UTV proves itself exceptionally effective in many of earth's terrain features. With its easy maintenance and sheer durability and versatility, it has in recent years been taken up by many cross country racers and adapted for such. Upgrades seen above include modified hull manipulators to allow it to physically clear obstacles, extra fuel canisters, and external supply packs for the pilot. Internally, many choose to modify the engine for increased speed or fuel economy, and upgrade the shock distribution system in the legs to allow for larger falls.
It should be noted that the legs can stand vertically to increase the unit's maneuverability over difficult terrain, and that as a feature of the orignal design, the unit remains hermetically sealed and NBC protected, and thus can enter regions where due to certain factors like radiation, air quality, or altitude, other vehicles would not normally be able to travel. For this same reason, the UTV also see's a lot of Military, scientific and Humanitarian usage.

Really dig into that tutorial I linked earlier, your shadow work will shine. That said, so far so good. I do so like quads. Only thing Id like is to see the manipulators being lower to accommodate a lower center of gravity. Perhaps even add rails to raise and lower them, similar to the machinery on a forklift(but not the forks themselves).
Another fine piece.
I continue to wonder what you use for creation... though I have my assumptions, I regret assuming.
Keep up the great work, and you will no doubt sustain yourself on commission alone.

This is the shiznet. Nothing has yet matched the traction ability of feet. And this vehicle shows just how efficient our mode of locomotion is when taken to the next level.

Very very nice. I think the arms/hands needs some work to make them useful while in roving mode. Otherwise fantastic piece of art...

Dude I totally love your "wheels on legs" design you use in a lot of your mecha. Really makes a lot of sense if you wanna go fast, not just plod along like an Imperial walker.

haha yeah, that kind of skating motion is my fave, so I like to incorporate it in my designs

Not the biggest fan of the arms, otherwise i love the design. The wheel's legs are quite unique.

Np, it's an opinion kind of thing, i like how you have lots of bold original ideas, sometimes just some of the details are not my taste.
