I have a thing for these big dark birds, always so frowned upon and almost treated like outcasts.We all need to belong, to be, and to feel safe.....

Hey many thanks and that makes us at least two then. I have a tattoo (tut tut at my grand old age of 53 ) on my lower leg depicting those birds, although they are only very lightly drawn. Also for me they symbolise will power freedom and not easily broken - I suffer from Parkinson's disease,which I got diagnosed with two years ago, and somehow these birds really now have become a very important thing for me.
