Sorry about the low contrast, some of the lines didn't really show up on the scan.Okay, so this is my English homework. Yeah, we had to pick a quote from a short story and illustrate it. I did this in monotone, since it's a flashback to the dude's childhood. His dad just gave him a shiny new penny (which he has never seen before; apparently he thinks they're all black...).
...Man, my sig looks so weird. Wrote with a thin liner but it turned super thick somehow...

Yeah, kind of. First of all: I have JOE. Can you imagine that? And to clarify things, we were supposed to find a quote, and then find (or draw) a picture for it. We, uh, don't do this every time. This'll probably be the only piece of English homework I'll ever put up here...
