Light elementals are a rare species, but there are reasons. People become light elementals if they haven't commited any sins up to the day that they die. If they fulfill this requirement, they are revived as a light elemental. However, the Goddess has picked out one light elemental in particular to serve as an assistant. That assistant is Fos. Fos can make illusions how herself to trick the opponent, or to make a diversion in order to heal. Moira will meet her most honorable opponent when she ventures to the skylands.
