Alright, so I've been wanting to start another species project and I really like this one~ So these are Impressions, a large companion species that are extremely loyal to whoever owns them.

Point 1

Impressions are the living form of an item! They can hop between their true form (the creature you see) and their item form. An imps design and item will have similar pattern and build. This is shown in the guide: the item is a teacup. the imp has a large tail that curls over it's back like a teacup's handle.

Point 2

Generally, Imps are about the size of humans. they can very a little or in rare cases they can be much smaller or larger!

Point 3

Imps have longer tongues to fit their mouth, but the tongue can vary in a lot of different shapes. The fangs were just fun to draw~

Point 4

If you noticed, the imps all have frills down their back. These frills are the best indication of mood: when they are relaxed, the frills will be slightly out or just hug to the body when they turn. When upset or scared, they may tuck all of their frills down against their body to appear smaller. When threatened or angry, they will flare their frills. You can interpret how they show emotions with their frills

Point 5

Imps don't initially have a visible mouth, but they can open their jaw, at first appearing as shown in the picture and then it will fully open. once they close their mouth again, it will take a short amount of time for the body to reform over the mouth.

Point 6

Finally it's good to know what the whole body looks like! Imps have long and thin bodies besides for the chest which can vary between thin or very built. They have long thin legs which are superb for the strides they take while running.

Finally,

Imps come in many shapes and sizes, but they also don't have to be just skin: they can have fur or even scales. Extra limbs are also not uncommon for this species but so far when it comes to eyes, each one usually has just one eye. it can be on either side of the head or even in the middle! Ears, tails, colors, you name it can be different.

This is a closed species and please don't make your own!
