This is the other submission I made for the Megaman anniversary book from the guys ofThis was my first try at making Chibi styled characters and I thought Doing all of Vent's megamerges in this style would have been cool/cute to go for. After doing this I must say I have gained much more respect for Chibi artists and your awesome ability to create clean lines haha.
Photoshop CS3 - 6 hours for each character

P: You should have added Aile thar.

Still, very nice work. Chibi art is sometimes hard for me because of the crisp lineart it entails x-x

Yeah didn't think too much about Aile :/ , was more of a Vent fan, but thanks and yeah lineart is something I still need major work in. Chibi's is TOUGH in my book haha

( Model Lx in official art was Aile merged, though xD; something to keep in mind, since you did it the same and, well, Lx looks feminine ).
I actually liked Aile better than Vent, since Vent was a bit.. eh, I don't know.
Although that was only in ZXA, ZX I liked them both the same ( but poor Vent was only a fill-in, considering Aile was the planned protagonist, so she gets more stuff, story-wise, than Vent ).

Yeah your right, Guess I was rushing too much to really think of that. And I didn't know Aile was the planned protagonist? Finally someone answers that for me haha, where did you hear that? You sure are a well informed fan, also do you know why they even chose to do both characters when only one of them really mattered?

Yep, she was. Other than the fact that it was obvious because of the story, Inti admitted to this a while back. I remember they also said they included Vent because they apparently wanted to try out a 'character select'. More like a 'choose your gender' thing that some RPGs have ( like, say, PokΓ©mon ). However, they decided to treat them as different characters ( even more so when ZXA rolled around, as you now see parallelism in both stories ( you can see the Dogu Ashe defeated at first at the Oil Fields as Grey ( I think it was the Oil fields, background.. or was it elsewhere? ) while the bridge is STILL broken when you go as Ashe, proof that both characters exist in the same timeline P:

ya very true. I thought they both existed for some reason but i thought that was stupid. And I thought Aile coulda been the main since she was with Grey's story but then that just left me the question of who was the main from ashe and grey. But all is clear now, Appreciate the info haha

I found it sad that they didn't bother to change some dialogue for Ashe's storyline. You know how what Albert says hardly makes sense on the last clip on Ashe's story, but makes perfect sense in Grey's? o.o That's kinda sad ¬w¬;
