Welcome back! A new picture for today, which I actually finished last night. I wanted Vangelus to see it first before I posted.

And here it is! Vange's Shinsektor and my Hawk Knight, both Scrappers on City of Heroes. How did this picture happen? Well, it went something like this...

Vangelus: [Hey! Saw your artwork. Awesome stuff. ]

(Note: Vange was actually the first person -not- on my Global Friends list (at the time) to send me a tell saying that he liked my drawings...)

ModernMyth (that's me!): [Thanks! Hey, do me a favor?]

Vangelus: [Sure, what?]

ModernMyth: [Send me screenshots of Shinsektor. Front, side, and back, full body and close up. ]

Vangelus: [!!!]

Anyway, this pic is is special to me for several reasons. First, I got it done in record time (for me): 36 hours from the time I decided I wanted to do the pic to the time I considered it done. Second, it was a challenge. All the little details in Shin's armor, took quite a bit of effort, and I'm really proud of how it turned out. Third, this is the FIRST completed full-body picture I've ever drawn of Hawk Knight, and finally... I got to finally figure out what HK's Wingblades (her 'batarangs' ) look like! Squeee!

Ahem. Anyway, done in pen and ink, with some pencil shading, and paintshopped backdrop.
