Biography/History

Pre-birth;Before Mothpaw was born, her mother and father were just ordinary friends. In fact, they were best friends. One day, Irisfleck realized that she was missing out on something; she didn't know what, until some of her clanmates had kits. That's when she realized she wanted to start a family of her own. So, she went to her best friend, Elkclaw, and requested he father her kits due to her lack of mate. At first he was hesitant, and even a little weirded out by the suggestion, but eventually he agreed. Not too long afterwards, Irisfleck gave birth to three healthy she-kits whom she named Mothkit, Flowerkit and Shellkit.
Kithood;
They were all happy little kittens and lived a good kithood. However, they didn't quite understand why their father wasn't mates with their mother like all their friends' parents were. Of course they were too young to understand that this was just an act of friendship; Elkclaw putting aside his reluctance to father his best friend's kits and granting her wish. The two young parents figured their daughters would understand someday.

Little white paws made a rhythmic thumping sound as Olive quickly made her way to the fallen oak. Why hadn't Beatrice alerted her sooner? Her kittens could be dead at the paws of Thaddeus by now! Her dull lapis eyes were brimming with tears as the cold winter air stung her face, but she had to keep going. Guilt was gnawing at the small tortoiseshell's stomach as she sprinted down the hill leading to the fallen tree. Olive could already make out the shapes of some of her tribe-mates; Leo's dark, mottled-brown coat standing out the most. From her viewpoint she could also see her kittens huddled behind one of the many boulders surrounding the once great oak tree.

Gritting her teeth in anticipation, Olive used her lithe physique to her advantage as she zipped through the undergrowth undetected. Now that she was closer to the fight, she could make out voices. The one that she heard the loudest, however, was the threatening meows of the Hennocho tribe leader himself. Thaddeus was towering above one of the smaller cats from Olive's tribe, Jesse, and looked as if he was about to strike her with his unscheathed claws extended above her. If Olive didn't do something now, there would be yet another life lost to the evil tomcat. Pinning her ears back against her skull, the token master launched herself into the clearing.
