This was a piece that did for me 10 years ago.

Originally, I wanted the pic to be of MJ & Sally sat on KITT's hood. But in his defence he told me that drawing cars wasn't his strong-suit so he gave me this instead and I'm cool with that.

For me, this is just a nice pic of them chilling out during the events of Knight of the Stars 1.

I like to think of Sally as MJ's equal in that they're both cerebral, resourceful, intelligent and they just accept each other for who they are. This cemented this for me further when I saw the movie Avatar back in 2009 that conveyed the same message.

That inspired me to go with a slightly more mature direction when I did the reboot the same year - I wanted to explore the relationship dynamic of the story more to where it meant more. Because one thing you'll notice as you read from KRS 1-13 there's a balance of the mission and the relationship, but Knight Rider MS will focus more on the relationship simply because it's nice to take things at a slower pace on occasion.
