Description
Since the drawing ended up being too big for banner display, I decided to make it its own submission.Because this is a new render of the groups Modus Opera, I'll remind you who's whom.
Standing are Simon (yellow sun), Mary (purple clouds), Carol (red flowers)
Sitting are Pitt (blue water), Stone (pink sky), Hate (green hill)
Ever since Simon was included, he was a perfect fit to be our sun. Yellow is his color, and he is as vibrant as the sun.
Stone is the character that unifies all of my characters in stories that are NOT Myora's Curse, so stories like the Ahead series, Swords of Venom, Crumbling Core, and more. This unity, is represented by one all-encompassing sky.
Pitt is the one who allows us to meet characters from established stories. For instance Boyfriend from Friday Night Funkin', or Solomon from Obey Me, Monika from Doki Doki Literature Club, and the like. The water is in its essence, a river that connects different worlds.
I switched to being a flower since story-wise, I lost my teal gem in the Backrooms, and the Backrooms replaced it with a flower with golden leaves. So I'm just automatically defined by flowers. It seems also that I revert to the color red, possibly to intonate anger and passion.
Hate is still Earth. He is still our strategist. And on top of that, he's now that guy who cleans up our messes, haha. He is the only sane one in the group, being constantly embarrassed by our shenanigans.
I'm still getting used to Mary as a core member of Modus Opera. The truth is, I've never worked with her closely until now.
Since she's a perfect definition of a background character, that is, she's been in every single installment of the BetaMeta saga, simply being offscreen at all times as the story takes place, but she's experienced all of them along with the protagonists,
I have never considered her as an actual character.
So if fate writes itself, I would say firsthand that I as creator may have to face something really heavy later on. And that is to face one of my own largely-ignored creations. And maybe it would be heavy for Mary, too, as said ignored creation.
Not sure if I'm up for it. But knowing Mary, it will happen at some point.
