Okay I'm going to be honest and say I haven't seen the movie, only the few song segments Disney release for promotion. But I have heard about the Nordic tale Frozen was based on. And like all folk lore back then, it tends to be pretty screwed up. Be thankful Disney got to it first before another studio did.

This was actually inspired by Daft Punk's Tron Legacy soundtrack and Elsa singing "Let it go."

Bare with me. If you've seen the movie, try to remember that song and how she's showing off her Ice powers. Now take away the singing and you have nothing but the animation. Then add "The games have changed" from Tron Legacy and it's a pretty interesting concept.

PS: And be thankful I went with this inspiration. The other Idea was an obvious X-men Parody. At least Ice-man would have a freezer buddy to "chill" with.
