Me and my best friend(
) went into this shop in NoHo with all these glass things in it, and we asked the owner if we could take some pictures. And since she's nice, she let us take some. This is just one of them. Maybe I'll upload some more. The egg in the broken shell caught my eye first, and personally, I think it's the best darn thing in that little shop (except the ceiling, but Juz has an awesome photo of that) and it has a lot of personal significance for me that I'm not gonna go into heh

the glass diffuses light perfectly making it seem out of focus, yet the egg behind it, and the foreground are in focus. Beatifully done. I like the jewels in front too.

yea yea, it makes sense. i bet it IS expensive, i didnt even ask exactly how much it was. it's from a private gallery, so i would imagine they charge LOTS since there's only one copy of everything hehehe
