*Mecha was putting something away, and wasn’t paying attention to Maristela*

“Mom?” She asked

“What would like Maristela?” Mecha gracefully said, while a gust of wind was starting to knock her off her feet.

“Mom, you need to let her go” Maristela said with all the power in her voice. The conversation went sour as Mecha looked up at her covering her face from the wind

Mecha brushed her off “I don’t know what you’re talking about Maristela…”

Maristela was mad “is this how you treat your loved ones, forcing them into marriages they don’t want to be in?!”

Mecha was getting cornered, as she huddled on the floor “Look, I was scared! Ok?! I didn’t know what to do… so I did the easiest thing I could do! Pretend that everything was ok, I know it was wrong, but I couldn’t face reality…”

Maristela looked her mom sympathetically “Mom…”
But she was cut off by Mecha

Mecha “I-I’ll set her free ok, just… leave me be.”

Maristela felt accomplished but still felt baggage while she walked away and that’s when she heard Mecha say “Thanks Maristela for helping, but your marriage is a done deal.”
