A small test I did where I wanted to see if I could make something photorealisticish.Somewhat halfway realistic at least.

looks like something out of dreamworks. nice work with the texturing and lighting.

Sorry, forgot to put it up on description due to lazyness
Everything is made and rendered in 3dsmax with Mental Ray using Arch & Design shaders. Then some photoshop to bring the render up a bit.

That's a type of user-friendly shader which holds the parameters for adjusting and making materials to simulate the type of surfaces you want to use on your 3D objects. In this case as you see, I made wood table and wooden spoon, plus some sort of clay bowl shader.

Not really sure, but I believe Maya supports Mental Ray engine, so it wouldn't surprise me since A&D is a Mental Ray shader type. Best way to find out is to search
