Yes...Though, how would Grendizer do against the Prehistoric Super societies like Mekenie, the Dinosaur Empire, or that very japanese group that battles with "haniwa " monsters from Steel Jeeg?

Oh well, as I said, Fleed civilization is way ahead of any Terran technology , so if Great Mazinger could beat the Mekenes and Jeeg the Haniwa, Grendizer must be more than up to the task.If u see the series, u will find that all through his battles, he had very limited damage, the more severe was only once having an arm ripped off, while the Mazinger get sometimes pretty destroyed!

...could be...I don't know if the Prehistoric earth Empires are as ad vanced as Vega, they may be comparable to it...I get the impression Mekene was an off shoot of an otherworldly technology...I don't know but in the history of Shin Mazinger, was the Ancient world being fought by two other alien powers? I thought maybe Fried star, was battling Vega even then...Are the Earth Empires the result of this? With their evil natures, are they the result of a Vegan Incursion?

And i'd like to think Grndizer could battle any other evil powers with great success, tho i believe for the sake of a good story he'd take damage too. I like mazinger Z best because he is often overmatched, and still can prevail...My asolute favorite Mazinger z story is one where he first battles Mekene. At least 14 super powered enemies!
And as for me, I like Great Mazinger, but why not skip him and go directly to new Grendizer adventures. You know every body is waiting for it, who recalls Goldorak...

Well, the origin of Mykenes in Shin Mazinger is alien, not like in the classic series.However, finally, Go Nagai answered a direct question from fans last week in Kuwait as part of his tour in the Middle East (Kuwait-Egypt-Jordan) the question is about who is stronger: Grendizer or Mazinkaiser (a matter of great debate in some forums by maniacs) and he answered that it was Grendizer and that each time he wanted to make a stronger robot, he couldn't exceed Grendizer

I knew it! I always knew Grendizer was the Strongest. He was was the ultimate weapon of Freied star, and the thing the Vegans feared most...And well, there must be something about him, that the whole world loves(except USA)
My problem with Mazinkaizer is that's he's got too much power, he's too strong, and he outclasses all his enemies. He doesn't take damage. I didn't like Mazinkaizer vs. Mekene because he destroyed them too easily. I'd rather see a story where somebody steals Mazinkaizer and Koji has to defeat it in Mazinger Z.Mazinger does best when he's overmatched. and Koji has to think his way to victory.
Grendizer would just lop off Mazinkaizer's head, of course...

Oh wow! That is stained glass? I can't imagine how hard that must've been to pull off...
Anyway, excellent subject matter! I watched this as a kid, and actually got the entire series this Christmas as a present! (It's more of a group present though, since my mom and brothers love the show too.) We'll finally get to see what happens after episode 33, which is as far as the old English dub went. (The catch is we er...won't know what they're saying, because it's in Japanese without subtitles...eheheh.)

Quick question- are you drawing on the stained glass or cutting each piece out and going with that process? I can't quite tell and noted with your featured piece your comment on drawing....
