Description
The version of the template I'm using to make icon folder, can be used with colored image and image with white background. Just a little modification of the template that simplify my life. Putting it out there if anyone interest.Note that if you're using a picture with a colored background you should take out the effect of the folders layers, or even don't show them on your final file.

If you select the folder you'll notice it's approximately 500x355 pixel and the place between the folder and the top if 100 pixel of height.
So I generally try to find a poster that could fit in an area of 500x355, put it in the file, and suppress what's outside the folder (I blend the two part of the folder and select the outside, and when I'm the layer of the poster with that part selected I just delete). And I try to find a logo that can go in this 500x100 zone.
You can change easily the color of the line in the layer "bordure".

I like your work, but the edges in all your folders look irregular and pixelated, therefore it is not very aesthetic. rest-in-torment (rest-in-torment.deviantart.com… ) uses the same folder template and does not have the irregular edges, if you could check and improve the edges many would appreciate it. Keep improving that you have potential.

I'm not really a designer and I just do it to have all my folder with the same design if I'm being honest. I noticed it when it begin to appear but since I didn't care much (I never zoom enough the folder on my drive to really see the irregularity on the edges) I never took the time to correct the problem. I don't have much free time with my formation and I just took a few minutes from time to time to make folders for what I'm watching or whats asked that I can't find here (I have almost everyone who is using the template folder on my favorite I think).
I think I resolve most of the problem, not quit sure how since I'm only using photoshop for the folders ^^ It was a problem with the part I select and suppress outside of the folder. I'll try to be more careful for the ones to come. If you really find one disgusting don't hesitate to ask and if I have some time I'll make an other one.
