WARNING!For anyone who is a fan of slash and Yaoi: Don't like rants? Don't read it. I really mean it! There will be things said that can be seen as offensive for anyone who is a fan of the subject. It's not a personal attack, just my opinion about the subject. So......: be warned!!!!!
I'm becoming more and more agitated with all the Slash stories people write about movies I like. I swear HTTYD and Sherlock Holmes contains the most slash I have ever seen! Atleast 15 of the 20 stories contains slash!
While I have nothing against gay people, I do get offended by oversexed people who see in every close friendship an idea to express it as something gay. People make a couple out of Hiccup and Toothless and together they have sex. That's like having sex with your dog! (I see Toothless sometimes as a scaly pet) It's beastiality people, and it's disgusting.
Every one is allowed to have their own personal fantasies, but I get really tired of reading about everyone's dirty little fantasies on the internet. You probably think: Don't like it? Don't read, but sometimes people forget to put a warning in their story and I end up reading their dirty fantasies.
Every heard of true, close friendships? Yes, they do excist!
So that's why I have drawn this picture, to express my opinion about the subject. I can imagine Hiccup and Toothless being totally shocked if they read some of the stories people wrote. The reason I made Hiccup faint is because I have trouble drawing him XD

Before I go on my little tangent, I'd like to say that I very much like your picture, otherwise I'd never have even clicked it. It's quite amusing to see people draw how they believe characters would respond to seeing themselves in pairings.
RANT HERE:
On the contrary~ beastiality refers that the 'significant other' is a beast. Quite frankly, I'm not really all that supportive of 'having sex with animals' myself, but to consider all animals below yourself and incapable of complex thought and intelligence of equal level is simply conceited. ^^ People tell themselves, "It's unyholy, it's sick! They don't understand what they're doing, and you should know better!" Honestly, a dragon is a fictional creature as far as people know, so why not deviate a little? Who's to say that a dragon is 'just a dumb animal' or something of the sort? Besides that, how do we know what's right and what's wrong, or what's to be done and what's not. Is it because the Bible says so? No, my good friend, we cannot pick and choose. We cannot use the Bible to justify our means, and then say that other parts are obsolete. The Bible states that a man may not lay with a beast, a man may not lay with another man, or another man's wife. Why do we justify one, but shun another? We humans see only what is on the surface of the world, but the truth is that we can't even begin to grasp a true understanding of what we perceive. As they say, psychology is a soft science. Who are we to judge what is right or wrong?
On another note, yes, that's exactly what I was thinking. Don't like it, don't read it. Yes, there are people who don't put warnings, and they should be ashamed of themselves. On the other hand, there comes a point in most fictional pieces that you realize what it is, so why'd you read it all the way through?
I have indeed heard of a close relationship, but I'd like to ask you the same question you have asked-- why can't they be in a relationship? Sure, not everyone has to be together. They also don't always have to not be together (as wordy as that was). You say that we pair together every two best friends we see, but what of the people who only think of Hiccup and Toothless as a pairing? Are they also simply 'oversexed', as you so kindly put it? Believe me, there are those types of people out there.
I apologize for the offense I'm sure I have brought, but I like to debate. When I saw your rant, I could not help but to think: Challenge accepted.

Hahaha, thanks for the effort of writing that all down it was certainly interesting. I must say that I'm not very good at discussions and trying to convince people of my point of view. But I merely wrote down my opinion, but people can discuss with me if they want to.
There is one point I disagree with your arguments, I certainly don't think that animals (real or fiction like dragons) are lesser than humans. I don't remember ever writing that 
Also, with fanfics, the ones I read started out really good, but when it suddenly switched to slash romance I stopped reading it.
And hey, you did not offend me and I hope this comment doesn't come off as defensive. I understand what you are trying to say, but some points did not match with what I was really trying to say. We both have a different point of perceiving I guess

Lol, admittedly, I'm similar in that aspect. I don't tend to think of something good to say until 10 minutes after I'm confronted, and on the spot conversation fails me.
Ah, ha ha. xD Yeah, I know. I let my own opinions get the better of me there. Glad to know that someone else respects animals. I, for one, have a cat, and I'll be damned if I didn't say he's really smart cat (though, he does get in trouble because of it).
Very true. I've seen fanfics like that. I'm actually freaked out by certain types of fanfics myself, so I can put myself in your shoes. Too bad you can never find the perfect fanfic. It's always missing something.
That, we do. I like your attitude on things. ^^ If we had ever met somewhere in real life, I think we could actually become friends (despite our absolutely opposite opinions). I do respect your opinion, and by no means do I wish to convince you to join some random yaoi ship.

The reason I dislike yaoi is because it's always about sex, people don't care about deeper emotions, the ones friendships can provide. It's pure lust. That's why I dislike Slash/yaoi.
