I love the sentiment behind this. Actually it's a very cheerful death ... you have kept the "bright light" not normally associated with a death mood. You have just gone ahead and done this .... no attempt to conceal lighting cable etc.

Neither can I -- it is indeed perplexingly comment-less.

This was part of a series called "Cornered", each shot taken of the same corner in the same room, part of an exploration to see the different narratives that could be told in the same physical "theatre".
On a more thematic level, the loss of love (which the piece aims to illustrate) rarely happens in an isolated vacuum, so it made sense to me to show it take place in a more realistic, domestic setting.
