Another Scott Pilgrim fanart, and a really hard one to draw.This time is a chibi edition of mine, drawing many characters from the series. I included Reigen, protagonist from my story "CHRONOS: Heaven or Hell", for no special reason. xD

Yep, I'm aware of that. Though it's not blue, but purple. He has it that way in the videogame (as shown here: [link] ). In this drawing I wanted to reference both comics, film and videogame, and Gideon's purple hair here is a game's reference.

La verdad es que no esperaba que fuera a gustarle a tanta gente, aunque más bien es porque lo subí al grupo de 'Scott Pilgrim's Little Fanclub', que ahí hay dibujos de la franquicia por doquier. xD ¡Pero la verdad es que estoy ilusionado con que haya gustado a tanto personal!
Y por ello estoy preparando algo más "grande", si se le puede llamar así, relacionado también con nuestro amigo Scott. Aunque ahora está parado por los exámenes, y encima estando de Erasmus no voy a poder continuarlo... ¡Pero bueno, empezado está, y aunque sea tarde, se retomará y se pondrá, jojo!
Si es que se nota que Scott Pilgrim ha marcado un hito en nuestras vidas. xD

Yep, although the first three evil-exes show their numbers in the original poster. But I took the idea and decided to do the same with the rest of the exes, in a way or another. In fact, in the comics there are multiples references to each ex's number. It's really cool, yep!

Of course not! I admit it was a difficult drawing, but I've seen there some other artworks that are more awesome like this one; they're the real gods!

Yep, it was difficult to distribute all the important characters, but I really liked to adapt them to my chibi style! Specially characters like Knives, Scott, Nega Scott and Mr. Chau!
And yep, the blue-haired guy beneath Knives is Reigen, an original character of mine. There was a gap there and I wanted to put someone, so the first one I thought to put there was him. xD

Is it right that you put in mr Chau, Stacey and Nega Scott too, who weren't there on the original poster?
I think it's cool that you based it on a poster, but you still made your own thing out of it, a new composition and all. You took liberties, that's really good!

Thanks! In the beginning I was going to draw the poster in my style, but then I decided to draw more characters, and finally the result was the good guys VS the bad guys. Like you said, some characters (like Scott, Ramona, Gideon or Envy) were drawn like they were in the poster, but the others who are not there (like Nega Scott or Mr. Chau) were drawn by my own.
That's because I wanted the more, the merrier; a compilation! Although compilations are difficult to me, I tried anyways, and I like the result! And I totally agree about taking liberties. I usually make some artworks based on other pictures, but in the end, I always change some details to the point I end making a new different picture; some drawings more than others. I think it's a good practice in order to learn how to draw difficult artworks (specially poses) in your own method.

True, and inbetter detail, I fell as if you realy captured Scott Ramona, and Envy in this one. It's all great, but those three realy stand out to me.

Hmm, maybe is because they are full-body drawn (and also because they were the three first ones that I drew xD). I agree, they somehow excel in the picture, and that's good (mainly for Scott and Ramona, the main characters)!
It was a lot of fun to draw every single character in my chibi style, specially when coloring their eyes, not all black. xD
