Normally tattoos leave me pretty indifferent, but something this wonderfully idiosyncratic carries an intrinsic value completely irresistible. Mind you, the same picture with an un-tattooed model would have worked still. I regard her inky leg as a centrepiece prop for the eye to focus and refocus on time and again, enhancing and highlighting the collective effect of the other surfaces.

Lovely composition. I like how her top half is this overbearing black and her legs are light and delicate but grow heavier as they reach the toes. The tattoo also draws a really interesting focal point that sorta swirls from top or bottom into her pelvic area.
