this is my contest entry for Deer-Head 's contest, I'M SO FREAKING PROUD OF THIS DRAWING AAAAH
you can see the drama in the pic but I had a dramatic scenario with this drawing in real life, long story short I thought I lost the file forever but gladly found it in the wrong folder again, I cried for real over the loss and then I cried cause I found it again :''3

anyway this is a scene of Deer-Head 's ametrine comic where homweorld fought in the war against rose and her troops, ametrine is standing towards rose screaming and crying about the loss of their friends and Acquaintances
I chose this scene cause I just loved the atmosthere, the drama and flair in it a lot, I decided to do a fake screen shot again cause its always fun to do these also this way I can practice SU backgrounds and the original SU style :''3
I had some problems with the fire tho, at first I wanted to draw them like in the original ametrine comic from deer but decided against it cause I hated how my version turned out besides that I wanted to keep the original SU style :''3 I also decided to make the fire blue cause it looked better and stands out more >w<

ametrine: why won't you just surrender rose?
rose: why do you still insist on fighting me ametrine?
ametrine: shut up! you killed them!! you killed my friends!! you...

HEYY Y’ALL!! It’s been AGES since I last hosted a contest, so I felt like it was time to fix that! This contest will have some official SU Merch as prizes, as well as a few art prizes from myself.
That being said, if you want to enter this contest you MUST be comfortable with giving me your address if you win. I gotta send you those prizes somehow!
ALRIGHT. Down to business, here’s what this contest is about: My (many) gemsonas! You’ll be needing to draw art pieces where one or more of my gemsonas are the main focus. You can do comics, fan fusions (be it my gems with your gems or canon ones, but please do not fuse my Ametrine and my Blue Quartz with each other!!), simple or complex art pieces, lots of stuff! It just has to be drawn, ( sorry writers! ;o; ) and drawn by YOU. No bases or tracing of any kind, please! You can feat
