OMg I finally finished this one!!!
This is the request asked me since last year.
The picture consisted on demostrating both Pokemon main stories, the ANIME and the MANGA. Each character has a representative in the "other side" so they are mirroring each other. Also adding a little darker color to the manga side because the manga is a little more violent and dark than the anime, which is cheerfull and more for kids. Also adding the tittle "The two sides of the story" which is actually hencej18 fanfiction about a world where both "sides" meet.
I decided to draw them handmade... yeah the lineart is handmade, because they where TOO many characters I needed to draw, and since i also needed to "mirror" each one, I thought it would be easier... but ahh! I lost propootion many times as you can see. And then coloring was a whole challenge for me.
I reallly hope you like it, and Im really really really sorry about super lateness.

I kinda like the anime a bit more because of how brighter it is compared to the manga.

You have a point there, actually I think the manga is for teenagers and up and the anime is for kids. (That doesn't mean exclusively for them, anyone can watch both and have fun )

I disagree, I choose the manga side. More interesting characters, they grow up, more competent, and more enjoyable.

Anyway, love how they mirror eachother! It sums up the parallels pretty well!
*indirect counterparts are two characters that technically aren't physical counterparts, but happen to have similar personality or certain matching aspects of personality. (Here, they are Silver and Paul, Ruby and Drew, and Emerald and Max.) This is actually the only franchise that seems to have them!
