Haha, I know it's been done before, but I couldn't get the idea out of my head after reading someone's comment about Italy's English voice sounding like Mario. It was just too obvious of a crossover to ignore (with Italy and Romano being Italian brothers and all).
Anyway, Romano gets to rescue Spain, because even though he's a coward, the dude tends to grow some balls when Spain's in trouble. Gotta at least respect him for that. Honestly, I have a hard time seeing Italy ever saving Germany, since Germany's badass and could probably save himself, even in a dress. He'd probably end up saving Italy in the little guy's attempt to rescue him.
