Description
The final result. This is one of the many art pieces I've wanted to finish ever since a long, long time. With Easter vacations, I finally have the time to finish all my old sketches!

The Lady in the Water was inspired from two main sources:
1._First of all, I wanted to draw an underwater image ever since I watched Hayao Miyazaki's film "Ponyo by the Cliff", whose scenery is breathtaking.
2._Musically, I was inspired by Nightwish's Oceanborn; one of my favorite albums of all time, which has been a great source of visual ideas for me.

The Lady was hand-colored with colred pencils, and the background was digitally painted on Adobe Photoshop CS3. The lighting effects were given on said program as well.

Astrid is pleased.

The font used in my signature is called Shark in the Water, and it does not belong to me.
