Well, I think there's a lot of confusion where that's concerned. It used to be that artists didn't mind people sharing their work as long as it was sourced (as it does help promote them, after all), but in recent years, that's changed for some reason. I always ask just in case, but I think a lot of people (especially my age) still aren't used to this new change in mentality. I love when artists have Tumblr accounts and post links to them since otherwise it's very hard to tell who has one and who doesn't.
