Thank you It's supposed to be a high-tech compound of nano-bots and Latex which spills out of the "Crystal" he wears on his chest - mentally controllable to get it on and off. It's called "NanoTeX"( - Nano Technology Latex.)

The suit is very complex and has lots of functions.

As soon as the prolouge of our Manga is posted I'll set up a small Sector_11-Wiki where you can find all details about the rather large universe Sector_11 takes place in.

I guess you need to refer to "Sector_11 - NanoTeX Corp. research Institute" Akito is an employee there together with four other main-characters

This : [link] is his "real" form. He (and other "Sirius-XI"-inhabitants [the story's taking place on earth, little bit complicated) are able to "dematerialize" the spikes at the spine and the tail.

But there's one thing you need to know: Until now, the "Crystal" (which is the actual core of the suit) is only compatible to Akito's race. In this state of development and research, the "Crystal" will kill humans who try to connect with it. His origin planet is called "Sirius-XI". This and many other things will be explained in the manga and / or wiki.
