I was asked many times, how I make my bootcovers.So I made a tutorial for you with my latest bootcovers for my Rei Plugsuit 3.0
It's the first tutorial I made.
I hope it will help you at least a bit.
Here you see permanent bootcovers.
In the next Part (wich I still have to make) I will show you my way to make removable bootcovers (like the ones for my Trick or Treat Ciel, Rei Testplugsuit or Kirakishou).

Question.. So it the bottom sole open then? Coz you didn't mention stitching it closed

For the permanent bootcovers I haven't made a fabric sole. I used the original sole of the shoes.
I myself only use fabric soles for the removable bootcovers. Just watch Part 2 of the tutorial <3

I wanna try, wonder if it'll work on non-stretchy fabric @_@

I guess for non stretchy fabric you need a zipper, buttons or something other to close the Covers or els you will not be able to get you feet into she shoes.
But the rest should also work with non-stretchy fabrics. Maybe make them a little bit bigger for the first try.

Hm, willst du die Absätze mit überziehen oder sollen die so bleiben wie sie sind?
Absetze überziehen kann ich (bis jetzt) auch nur permanent, Stoff nehmen drauf kleben, überschüssiges wegschneiden.
In jedem Fall beim Aufzeichnen den Absatz erst mal weglassen und separat machen.

Und noch nen Tipp, zum Absätze bekleben, nimm den Stoff diagonal, dann passt er sich besser an die Form an.
hier kannst du ein klein wenig meine beklebten Absätze sehen ^^

hmm, I was thinking either Kaworu from You Can (Not) Redo or either Asuka from the same movie, it'll be though but i was thinking if i did Asuka's i could wear her hoodie so I don't have to make everything so perfect
