i've actually been "playing" for...well almost half a year now. i havent actually picked up the guitar in a few months...which now i realize set me back. dammit.

ten years in november..
started with bass. that's my "main" instrument, but i can play the standard stuff... guitar, drums, keyboard instruments. none of them terribly well, mind you, but well enough to serve my purposes. i'm taking double bass (upright) lessons right now.. next on my list is the clarinet. i don't know when i'll get to it, but i must. i also have a violin i'd like to learn how to play at some point..
i find taking time off playing to be good sometimes. give yer brain a chance to maybe think about, or not think about, what you had known before and you come back with a better understanding. that's not always true, but i've found it to be for me sometimes.
