Wow, this is a gorgeous painting. When I look at this painting I feel like I am there in the scene. It seems like I can actually feel the warmth of the sun touching my face on a cold autumn day. It feels like that because your use of shading and highlights males it seem like it's a cold day, but the sun just came out and it's milting the snow. Of course, it's autumn here because the leaves on the trees are scarce, but they are vibrant colors of red, orange, and yellow. Nothing in this picture is over-the-top, nor are the colors too dull, but everything is done just right so that this painting almost look a photo, but it has a painted quality just enough to be whimsical. The strokes you used and the details you made, give this painting a realistic texture. I love it!

The little details in the water, the snow on the trees...the branches...and the play between the bright leaves and the cold background really make this piece. Well done!
