Description
Molly's art notes: These are the rendering engines in Poser 12. On the left is the venerable Firefly which teh Mollz still uses and best understands. On the right is Superfly which is built on the Cycles rendering engine used by Blender. I used the same light sources and materials for both which is a disadvantage for Superfly which always looks better with a bit more attention to light sources and materials (note especially that the eyebrow material from Firefly is clearly incompatible with Superfly). There is no postwork other than to use Photoshop to put the images side by side.

As for the subject, Carmine Cat is another of my stabs at an original character. She is based on Angela 2.1 from Ali (also known as Mankahoo). Her outfit is all refitted stuff; leotard, boxybelt and cape from V4, boots and bracers from Terai Yuki 2 and Cat mask/helmet from Baron Vlad Harkonnen's Angela (a very different figure than Ali's).
