I like Cream as a stand alone character, but I don't really see her as a fitting character for the Sonic series. She looks and behaves like she'd be a better fit in a pre-school show like Teletubies or Care Bears. I also don't like how she's depicted as a damsel in distress, as it contradicts what Sonic was supposed to be from day one; a cool edgy epic version of Super Mario, in the sense that he doesn't save damsels in distress.
