Whoa, this reminds me of the bad@$$ mermaids from Harry Potter and Pirates of the Caribbean.
Would you be okay with it if I did this, but as a bluish species of dolphin? Hmmm, actually a beluga whale might be more fitting, seeing as she's from the arctic . . .

beluga would be fitting, as would a narwhal- I was also considering a leopard seal, but they move completely differently.

precisely. I went for a color pattern seen in some specific antarctic pods as opposed to the usual, and I think it went well.
