You captured his beauty perfectly, I'm still upset that there is no romance option for him I may or may not be in love with him and I find this to be an unsolvable issue.

I hear you on that. Nick is probably my favourite companion (although I think they're all good). It saddens me that they didn't give the player the option to romance him.
Some might say that it's because he's not capable of the act physically. But, to be honest, I don't care. Love doesn't necessarily have to be a physical thing.
