Okay, it's not increase blue. It's not even Diru. But Gazette ~Anata no tame no kono Inochi~ was too long.This is not up to my usual standard, I know. I've had the worst artist's block ever, it's so frustrating. And my scanner, gah. And the reference pic was so undetailed and grainy, by the time I finished Reita I knew I had to go find a better ref because if I messed up Uruha I was so going to be flamed by his fangirl community. And so when I got to Aya -I mean Kai, I just couldn't be arsed and so he was the most rushed and the most undetailed.
I'll be on hiatus for a while till I get this block thing figured out.

ooo gazette!!!. i'm rather fond of gazettes fashion but i have only heard a song of theirs ...a lot of screaming. but i download a bunch now because i want to give them another shot
i can tell a bit that you've had an artist block in this one...just because i've been devwatching you for a bit.
but i have to hand it to you. you've done beyond the words "great job" and "this is wonderful" considering you're in an artist s block. i'm totally in love with the guys face on the far left...
btw i got Amber by diru...and holy crap i must have had that playing for 28 times in a row

Anata no tame no kono Inochi is great, if for the guitars alone. Zetsu is also okay. They're not bad, but after a while their songs tend to meld together and sound the same, to me at least.
It's good that you can tell I had the block, probably from the lack of shading and the lack of detail. I'm just so annoyed, I can't seem to finish any of the drawings I've started and I'm having a real problem with likeness, i.e. trying to get it to look like the person in question, a problem I've never had before. It's frustrating, to say the least. I seriously hope I get over this soon, this is the last week I have before I have to start work next week. I mean, before I have to start looking for work, heh.
Amber is great! Right now my playlist is
1. Ain't Afraid to Die (I love the part where Kyo's voice goes super high, almost breaking near the end)
2. Jealous (the guitars are SO hide-like! Kaoru should stop beating himself up, he is as good as hide already)
3. I'll (god I love this song so much! Even when they were just starting out, they already had great guitar bits, this is in my top 5 Diru guitar solos for sure)
4. Itoshisa wa Fukai ni Tsuki (this is such a mellow song, very understated)
5. Taiyou no Ao (This is so beautiful, I love all of Diru's ballads
6. Jesus Christ Rock 'n' Roll (This is so catchy! I love love love it!)
7. Amber (I usually listen to this after watching a Gazette PV, because I need to rid myself of that swaggering-look-at-us-we're-so-hawtness that constitutes Gazette)

i loved I'll the first time i heard it ^____^ (listening to that song right now actually lol) same with jesus christ RnR! i love in Jesus Christ RnR when kyo sings high and goes "ooooooo ooooo!" or something hahaha! he has the perfect voice for that chorus. what amazes me about diru is that all the instraments, even kyo's voice, work so well in harmony. i'm glad your list is straight diru all the way...mine is like that too, so now i don't feel like a nut LOL.
Itoshisa wa Fukai ni Tsuki is one of my favourite songs off Withering to Death, and i think it is underated as well. i was searching a few diru sites and a lot of them mentioned the more known ones, like kodou or machiavalism. but even the suttle diru songs are amazing. this one in particular ^^.
when i first heard Dead Tree, i thought, wow, i like how it starts! very eery. then when kyo starts to scream, i was like "ummm!!!" but a lot people said they like this song, so i said ok, let me try this one again. and you know? I LOVE IT! the chorus is so awesome with kaoru's melody...ahh easily one of my favourite tracks as well.
taiyou no Ao is absolutely gorgeous. The first time i heard it was actually on a pv with a bunch of other diru pvs. ( it was after kr[cube] i remember, and it was like "whoa gear change!" hahaha) it's so pretty...it stands apart from most of diru's darker works. kind of like yokan. beautiful song
sometimes i stick a mucc song in my playlist, or "Missing" by Ellegarden.
