Warning: Huge file!!~So I haven't been that active the last few months and I thought I could make it up to you guys with a big big Christmas gift AKA an Advent Calendar!
I used to make a lot of Christmas gifts but last year and the year before I made maybe one or two and it's still kinda embarassing since I really like Christmas and all the people of dA!
Some people find it a depressing and lonely time but I always love this time of year
(Though I hate all the x-mas songs starting in November already 
). I want a lot of people to surprise with a small but thoughtful gift to show I haven't forgot about you! 
So I thought an advent calender would be the perfect idea because I've seen a lot of people do this last year and the years before and I really wanted to try it myself as wel!! 
I spent a lot of time making this and it was a real pain in the ass
Especially because it's such a big file and my computer screen froze like all the time 
I don't want to take all the credit for the wood though. I used a lot of references and eventually traced the lines of a tree to make my own brush. I'm really bad at drawing trees, but I really wanted it to look nice and smooth for all of you I'm still not quite sure who to add though. I thought about 10/12 people I really want to give a gift but I can't think of anyone more I'm friendless X'D So maybe if you really want to be on this advent you can send me a message and maybe I'll add you! 
It'll be a surprise if you will be added and which character I choose to draw of course

Not to sound selfish now I of course also want to mention that all the other characters look awesome too! Their unique designs look so lively and vibrant in your style and I love the poses you thought of for each of them!
I really feel with you with the layer-mess and hard work of this calendar since I did two of those in my life already and every time it was a horribly stressing piece of work, so do not get too stressed over it and enjoy it rather than forcing yourself to do it, that's all I can say about it

Aawwww, there are so many beautiful horses, and all of them are so lifelike and you gave them style and emotion

Ooh kleurrijke merrie alert!
Metro ziet er echt zo schattig uit in jouw style en je hebt haar manen echt supermooi gedaan!
