There's something cool about this piece, it looks electric and very computerized. But I have to say that it does indeed look like you just played with filters for fun, instead of having a vision and trying to realize it. It also looks very texture-like, there is no real point of focus in the pattern. The frame is nice, but I don't like the typography at all, the font isn't very good and the effect you applied to it makes it look cheap, IMO.

I have to say it doesn't look much better. The font is too decorative and the effect is unnecessary. The picture is so eye-catching that the text shouldn't compete with it, a simple font with white color would probably be the best choice.
