I was asked to sketch a phoenix for a possible tatt. Being swamped of late I have just now gotten around to doing this image. The design is influenced by the use of tribal sketchings and the flame job style for decorating hot rods.Related content

Great job. What a feeling from such simplicity. Great ink sketch. It seems you can see this bird in flight. I read this bird burned up, turned to ashes and then came back to fly again. This reminds me of a beautiful ink sketch a friend of mine, oh, it was you, made of a sleek cat. I hope to see a deviation of that cat for all to see. Adios amigo Shawn.
