Gunner isn't the best at any one thing, but put a weapon in her hands and she can paint a swath of destruction like Michaelangelo with a paintbrush. She is a virtuoso with a gun. A weapon in her hands is a prelude to a masterpiece of death. Her father used to run around like a hero in their small community. When she was 15 she watched as a gang of self appointed morality police killed her father for marrying a Muslim woman. When they tried to kill her mother for marrying a Kuffar, Talisa grabbed her father's gun and killed them all. The shots were so precise the police didn't believe a young girl could have done it. She started hunting those who killed her father. After killing the Iman who demanded his death she got her own death sentence from another Iman. He also died, beheaded in his own Mosque. A list of his crimes written in blood on the walls. She joined the Marines and did her four years but she didn't get the combat she wanted even though she always got expert on her range qualifications. Talisa is more anti-hero than hero but she is true blue loyal and that is difficult to find in this day and age. She will always be loyal to Lodestone; they have a bond that can't be broken. She is in love with someone but she is afraid it wouldn't work out. Also, she has seen what some people do to people she loves and fears telling them would risk losing them. One major limitation is that she needs bullets to be effective at range.
