Attention: Nickelodeon's Avatar series is also referenced here, after knowing I relate that series to Pokemon as much as I do Digimon, in so much that I watched Digimon Seasons 1 and 2 in conjunction with Last Airbender and Legend of Korra respectively.

Anyways, the way I imagined a Pokemon-Digimon crossover to be is essentially by giving the same contrast between hmans and animals to Digimon and Pokemon. If you played the Pokemon games and are familiar with the Digimon anime, you would understand that difference.

This is precisely why I pictured Demiveemon as a Pokemon trainer. I already adored Veemon as a kid, not to mention the monkey-penguin hybrids looking somewhat alike Veemon, but take the adorable white pot belly, blue skin, stature, paws, and anime face and make all of them even cuter and you end up with Demiveemon. I also made Demiveemon chubbier and even gave him a bellybutton! I already know he's ticklish so don't bother asking!
