My favourite fictional alien races
From left to right it goes
Arachnid from Starship Troopers
Xenomorph from Alien
Turian from Mass Effect
Protoss ( that particular fellow being Zeratul ) from Starcraft.
If I had to rank them in order of the ones I like the most it would probably go~
4-Arachnid
3- Turian
2 - Protoss
1 - Xenomorph
My rule was I could only choose one from each game/movie whatever or there would be mass effect aliens everywhere
P.S I was gonna draw the alien from district 9 but seriously fuck that. Those things are impossible to draw
Oh...and who do you think would win in a fight?

protoss
tau
klingons
borg
metroids
in no particular order

It's important to know when designing an alien they have to look alien.
Nothing against for some of the more human looking ones (Asari for example) but I get easily more blown away by something that doesn't look like anything we've seen before.

xenomorph would win 100%
the ultimate killing machine, just has to 'breed' with any of these species to become an even more badass version of that species

Not trying to a fangirl or whatever here, but I bet Zeratul would properly have the upper hand. But I have no idea what Turian is so... Idk.

Awesome work and nearly the identical to my favourites (-arachnids but +Tau from wh40k)
Turians are so extremly cool looking and have a strong miltary and great tactics.
Xenomorphs ... damnit this things are so scary, facing one of them would be my worst nightmare
and Protoss? Man I like them so much ... the design, the mentality, the fighting-skills, their history, the heroes ... best alien-race ever ^^
A fight? mmmhhh ... okay lets say the Turian is a standard-soldier (so no garrus)

Fantastic drawings and I certainly approve of the choices, especially the xenomorph! The Starship Troopers arachnid would be a close second for me. I was always more of a Zerg fan over Protoss . . . gotta' love those hydralisks!

Assumption: Protoss and Sangheili indirectly related (Hand design 1, leg design 1, armour design 1, thinking of themselves > other races 1)...
4 similarities (hand and leg one CANNOT be ignored).
Turians could be some distant cousins due to hands being slightly similar, and feet design being familiar to Elites...And the side-jaws.

I'd put my money on the turian or protoss.Β Without a guiding intelligence, warrior arachnics and xenomorph drones have the intelligence equal to a dog.Β If you put them all in a room, the most intelligent would let the otehrs pick each other off.

Put them all in a room, and I give it to either the xenomorph or the arachnid--although it might be a Pyrrhic victory. The xenomorph's acid-blood getting splattered everywhere is going to be a nasty surprise for the smarter beings in the room, while the close-quarters ferocity of the more animal intelligences gives them something of an edge.
In general, though, I'd still call the fight for a Turian or a Protoss, as they might be sensible enough to bring a long-range weapon and possibly a vehicle to the fight. Big claws and acid blood can't do a lot for air strikes or indestructible dune buggies.
