Who is this Ash person and where is the reference to him? I can find nothing about him in any of my ANOES materials.

Ash Williams technically isn't a ANOES character, he's from the Evil Dead series, (Evil Dead, Evil Dead II and Army of Darkness, en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ash_Will… )
After Freddy vs Jason a script for Freddy vs Jason vs Ash, but they changed the medium from movie to comicbook. and about a year later the sequal Freddy vs JAson vs Ash: Nightmare Warriors came out. If you're a fan of the ANOES series I reccommend it I think before you start with the comics, watch the evil dead series so you know who Ash is

Are you aware that there is a four year gap between Freddy's arrest and trial in your timeline?

yes o-o in Freddy vs Jason vs Ash Nightmare Warriors at the end it is shown that in 1964 Springwood, a time-displaced and disoriented Agent Wesley Carter -who had been sucked into the Necronomicon's vortex- finds himself in the Springwood Police Department on the day of Freddy's arrest, and impulsively signs Freddy's search warrant when he finds the file on a desk in front of him, altering history. When history wans't aletered, Freddy's mom died in 1938, iwch was when she heard Freddy was released.
My gues is the trail just took very long?

Interesting. Because if you've ever seen the pilot of the TV series, 'A Nightmare on Elm Street, Freddy's Nightmares' You would haveseen that Krueger was released because the arresting officer never read him his Miranda rights. Now the Miranda vs. Arizona decision was made in 1966 and it's true that many cases across the nation that should have been open and shut were dismissed because of oversights of this kind for several years afterward. This was, I felt, an INGENIUS device on the part of the writers to insert Krueger into the history of the time. From what I can see, your Freddy vs Jason vs Ash, Nightmare Warriors is guilty of a VERY SERIOUS PLOT HOLE.

Sorry I ment 1968, not 1938. My bad.
and I think I've seen that once a few years ago, but I forgot all about it The Miranda vs. Arizona decision does seem a better solution, but I guess the writers of Nightmare Warriors felt they needed to close this up. Maybe they didn't do enough research, And I should've known this too. I personally didn't like the ending much because when altering the past, all of the nightmare movies, fredy vs jason etc never happend ><
