Yet another comic book idea. This one is about a Moorish servant girl in a rich duchess' house in the late 1600s. A girl comes to her and says she might be her sister and her employer(a French duke) thinks they may have come from Moorish royalty. So one way the main character figures she can get out of her owner's clutches is to write a tell-all book about her owner's life.
Meredith-she's the rich duchess. She's kind of snotty, but later on(hopefully) I'll introduce her brother, who moved to Spain to marry a Spanish duchess. She's the polar opposite of her brother, who loved Evangeline like another sister and taught her how to read. I guess she's kind of jealous of Evangeline. She does have a center, though. She feels like she can never find the right guy, especially because she feels like if she doesn't marry soon, she'll lose all her money.
Evangeline-I've already kind of explained her a bit
Julius-I'm not sure if I'm keeping him..I'm pretty sure I will be. He's the queen's jester(the queen being queen Elizabeth). He's a dwarf, and helps Evangeline with her endeavor.
William-He's Meredith's friend. He deals with his love for the aforementioned French duke, Benoit.
A lot of people who don't fit in the norm are in this idea of mine, so it'll be cool to explore.
